We are looking for a talented and experienced individual to head up the team that runs our Business and Policy Leaders Groups. You will work with some of the world’s leading companies and international institutions, and with the national and international policy community, to develop insight and solutions to global challenges and to help build a fair and prosperous future.
CPSL runs or provides the secretariat for business and policy groups including: ClimateWise for the insurance sector, The Prince of Wales’s Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change, the P8 for the pensions sector and others for professional services, banking, defence, health and ecosystems. Our work draws on the breadth of knowledge within Cambridge University and on leading thinkers and practitioners from around the world. CPSL’s Leaders Groups sit alongside our Executive Programmes and our 4,000-strong Cambridge Sustainability Network, all of which seek to build understanding and promote leadership and change for sustainability.
The successful candidate will be familiar with the major global issues, trends and players that shape the context for the sustainability debate and be able to forge high-level partnerships and networks with very senior business leaders, politicians, policy makers and academics globally. A working understanding of the finance sector and of policy making would be an advantage.
This is a senior position and you will be a member of CPSL’s Directorate. You need a proven track record of strategic planning and team leadership, a demonstrable ability to understand and work with complex issues, business drivers and political processes, and the entrepreneurial skills to identify new opportunities and develop innovative responses. The post is based in London and Cambridge.
